As many of our Year 12s wrap up school and consider further studies, we thought it timely to celebrate a 2018 Stars graduate from Casuarina Senior College, Tayha Hill-Duggan.

In June of this year Tayha graduated at Deakin University with a Degree in Early Childhood Education with a distinction! Please join us in congratulating Tahya of this wonderful achievement.

Meanwhile Tahya said that graduating with distinction was incredibly rewarding and she shared the following helpful insights for current Stars students.

“I enjoyed the diverse learning environment at Deakin, especially the hands-on experience with children during placements… Challenges included balancing assignments, full time work, and personal life where time management was crucial… For the Stars girls considering university, my advice would be to stay curious, embrace challenges, seek mentors, and don't hesitate to pursue what genuinely interests you. It also doesn’t hurt to have a go and you can always change different pathways throughout your career life.”
